Flexible Ducting

Hunter Expansion Joints LLC supplies PTFE Flexible Ducting for use in Industrial plants, Food & Beverage Plants, Chemical Plants, Semi-Conductor Plants, Laboratories, Clean Rooms, Plants with HVAC systems, & other plants with ventilation systems that require flexible ducting connections for low, medium, and highly corrosive applications.  Hunter EJs flexible ducting is capable of operating to temperatures of 600 F, using 100% PTFE material with a non-stick surface, and excellent chemical resistance.  Pressure ability varies with diameter, typical range is between 3” wc to 100” wc.  Flexible ducting is supplied with sleeved ends, flanged ends, flanged ends with holes,commonly connected to adjacent duct or pipe using hose clamps, T-bolt clamps, or other custom clamps and clamping bars.

  • The lowest cost for general industrial and ventilation apps, low corrosion, where exposed ducting metal support rings are not an issue inside or outside.

Hunter Flex Duct 2EM = Accordion Style Ducting – with “Encapsulated” (non-exposed) Metal Ring Coil Supports.

  • Medium cost for more corrosive internal or ambient applications where exposed metal support rings are undesirable and encapsulated.
  • 3” Diameter to 20” Diameter
  • Rated to 600 F

Hunter Flex Duct 3NM = Accordion Style Ducting – with “NO” Metal, all 100% PTFE Ring Coil support

  • Highest cost flexible ducting option for highly corrosive applications where metal rings are not wanted at all, this 100% all PTFE product with all 100% PTFE support rings is used for the toughest chemical attack applications such as chlorine molecule attack applications and similar.
  • 3” Diameter to 16”+ Diameter
  • Rated to 600 F
